(30 minutes) Abstract: Selling logs, other timber products and even minor forest products can be an overwhelming endeavor for a small forest landowner. Sometimes a timber sale might be once in a lifetime event. This talk will share the options, choices and resources available to landowners for the best results from marketing their timber and other forest products.

(1 hour) This panel will bring together four of the top Resources/Procurement Managers in Western Washington, with decades of regional and world wide timber experiences. They will share what type of logs their mills or companies process, which includes Douglas Fir, Hemlock, Spruce, Hardwoods, Cedar and Export logs. We are going through changing to volatile times for timber markets, this panel will update us on current market conditions and also try to guide us for what the future may bring. Are we planting and growing the correct species and size of logs for future markets?
