The Washington Tree Farm Program would not be able to administer American Tree Farm System certification in Washington State if it weren’t for numerous volunteers who donate their time and partner organizations who donate in-kind support. Because we do not charge a fee to provide certification for our tree farmers, we depend upon your donations to the local program and financial support from the American Tree Farm System national office for continued operation.
If you would like to support our efforts to encourage sustainable forestry in Washington State, there are several ways you can help. We are a 501(c)3 organization so your donation is tax deductible.
Fred Meyer Rewards Program
Do you shop at Fred Meyer? If so, consider enrolling in the Fred Meyer Community Rewards program. Fred Meyer will donate a portion of your purchases to the WTFP. If you already participate in the Fred Meyer Community Rewards program, you can select WTFP as your charity by visiting www.fredmeyer.com/communityrewards. You can search for us by Washington Tree Farmers Program or our nonprofit number #81451. Please note, you may only link one charity to your account.
If Amazon is your one-stop place to shop, consider shopping through Amazon Smiles and support the WTFP. It’s the same experience as shopping on Amazon but a portion of your purchases will be donated to the charity of your choice. Before checking out, you will be asked which charity you wish to select.
Washington State Combined Fund Drive
Are you a former or current state employee? If you participate in the Combined Fund Drive, then consider selecting the WTFP as a charity for your donation. You can find the WTFP under the Combined Fund Drive search by searching for Washington Tree Farm Program or our charity code 1482260.
Or you can donate to us directly:
